About the Event
Stories are everywhere. In our books, on our screens and in our minds. We store our memories as stories. We experience our life as a story. We’re the protagonist of a story we continuously tell about ourselves and everything we do becomes a plot point. Storytelling has been a way to teach others about the world since forever. We can think about training courses, conference, classrooms or seminars as a place where we tell stories. But what if we think of them AS a story, instead. What if we use storytelling as a design principle to create learning experiences that deserve to be a meaningful, memorable and transformative part of our participant’s life-story?
The Learner’s Journey is an approach to creating learning experiences that does just that. Based on the theories and ideas of storytelling and the core story structure, the Learner’s Journey provides a robust map that facilitators can use to build learning events that are radically learner centric.
